The "Golden Age" series celebrates the everyday elegance of Chinese intellectuals, drawing inspiration from icons like Xiao Hong, Lin Huiyin, and Zhang Ailing. It showcases A-line and H-line robes, jackets, suits, and dresses in cherished natural fabrics like silk, acetate, linen, and wool.
Drawing inspiration from the modestly dressed gentlemen of quaint towns, who favored the classic mandarin jackets dubbed "victory jackets," this design reflects their quiet affluence through fabric choice, complemented by round glasses, a trendy accessory and marker of cultural status of the era. While preserving the iconic buttoned front look, we've reimagined the pattern to amplify the garment's fabric volume, enriching its form with depth and structure.The colour azure stems from an ancient type of jade, exhibiting a vibrant, slightly bluish-green hue..Selected for its silk satin feel, the fabric is interlined with a layer of light cotton, ensuring warmth and further refining the silhouette's elegance.
