“Brains Over Beauty” Collection
Women who are imaginative, talented, and fiercely independent dress to delight themselves. They prioritize self-expression over seeking attention or judgement. With both wisdom and ferocity, they each embody a unique and captivating beauty. These values are intricately woven into their work, their daily lives, and their wardrobes.
Simone de Beauvoir once remarked, "To Care for Her Beauty, to Dress Up, Is a Kind of Work". Drawing inspiration from her, this collection seeks to capture her composed elegance, her strength, the romance, aloofness, tenderness and determination she exudes beneath her exquisite attire.
Inspired by the Song Dynasty painting "Yao Tai Walking in the Moonlight," this design reflects the traditional attire of Song Dynasty women, combining a chest wrap and an open-front outer garment. The fabric is a luxurious silk-linen jacquard, embodying Chinese elegance and opulence. Crafted into a refined and well-proportioned bandeau with a smooth front and tie-back, it allows for tasteful skin exposure and can be worn alone or layered.
