The design pays homage to the "Nichang Yuyi-Feather Dress Dance," a legendary performance choreographed by Emperor Xuan Zong of the Tang Dynasty, which portrays an emperor's dreamlike journey to the moon. There, he witnesses heavenly maidens adorned in feathered garments, dancing among rosy clouds.
